Beacon Bully - Winter Strenuous Series

Difficulty: Very Hard

Distance: Approx. 15 miles

Time: 9 hours

Every now and then we need to push even harder than usual - it's time for the winter segment of our Strenuous Series. Starting with Breakneck Ridge, the Beacon Bully traverses the entire ridgeline of the Beacon Range. Some of the best views in New York State will have to be earned through a grueling 13.5-mile trek amongst the region’s most rugged territory. 

We will be moving at a quick pace over a long distance and will take infrequent breaks. We encourage only hikers who are physically prepared to complete this hike under these conditions register - this will be intense. Sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor attire required. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We will hike rain or shine barring extraordinarily dangerous conditions such as lightning, hurricane, etc.
