Breakneck II: Reverse Undercliff

Distance: 3 miles/1400 ft gain

Time: 3 hours walk-time

[MODERATE] A steady gain up the Undercliff Trail gets progressively steeper as it approaches the crest of Breakneck Ridge. The completion of the route will descend down the front of Breakneck, a heavy downhill that frequently calls for scrambles and steep down-climbs.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the execution of this event may be altered to preserve the health and safety of all involved. As new information is made available we my choose to change the time, location, route, capacity, social distancing guidelines, required PPE, etc. Any alterations will be communicated to registrants via email and social media. Our waiver has been updated to include language acknowledging the possible health risk that is presented by congregating amidst a global pandemic. Following the most recent recommendations from health officials and state governments, we will include particular safety guidelines for each event in the final email sent to registrants prior to the event.
