Gertrude's Nose

Our first social hike of 2019 will be a route across Millbrook Ridge to one of the most popular locations in Minnewaska State Park - Gertrude's Nose. With so many amazing spots in the park, it's hard to pinpoint one as the "best". Nevertheless, the view from Gertrude's Nose is arguably near the top of the list. With vibrant pitch pines and uniquely photogenic rock structures and cliffs, this hike is perfect for this time of the year!

There is a $15.00 per person fee to access the park. Those coming for the hike will be refunded $5.00 for each fee paid, discounting the fee to $10.00 per person. Feel free to reach out for further details.

Sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor attire required. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We will hike rain or shine barring extraordinarily dangerous conditions such as lightning, hurricane, blizzard etc.
