Mount Beacon

Time: 3 hours

Mount Beacon is the highest peak in the Hudson Highlands and offers countless views of most of the points of interest in the area! The NYC Skyline, towns on either side of the Hudson, most of the surrounding nature areas from the Palisades to the Catskills, and much more! Steeped in history, the mountain played a part in the Revolutionary War and was later the site of a hotel & casino! We'll spend some time at the North Beacon ledge before heading to the Beacon Fire Tower on South Beacon. We will also announce the winner of our January giveaway live on this hike!

Sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor attire required. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We will hike rain or shine barring extraordinarily dangerous conditions such as lightning, hurricane, blizzard etc.
