Mount Tammany

Distance: 3.9 miles/1400 ft gain

Time: 4 hours walk time

Tammany is the crown jewel of New Jersey, with views directly into the massive Delaware Water Gap gorge. Reaching the summit requires a steep ascent with abbreviated scrambling. The rocky and loose descent is equally steep before levelling out at Dunnfield Creek.
