Take the easy way up to the summit of Popolopen Torne to take in the late summer version of one of the Hudson Highlands' most recognizable views. Overlook the Bear Mountain Bridge - at the time it was built between 1922-1924, it was the only Hudson River crossing south of Albany and, at the time, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world at 2,255 feet. Anthony's Nose, the Timp, Sugarloaf Mountain, and more, are among the other sights to take in from the top.

Sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor attire required. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We will hike rain or shine barring extraordinarily dangerous conditions such as lightning, hurricane, blizzard etc.
