Thomas's Final Peak: Balsam Mountain

For this Proactive social hike, we'll be returning to the Catskills to join Thomas First for the final 3,500+ foot peak on his quest to the Catskill 3500 Club! We look forward to being on hand to witness the payoff of the determination, the dedication, and the perseverance that it takes to earn membership into this club and to celebrate this accomplishment along with him!

Wear sturdy footwear and dress in layers for colder temperatures. Spikes will likely be required and should be packed. Depending on local weather, we will advise of any additional equipment that may be required. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We will hike no matter the weather, barring extraordinarily dangerous conditions such as lightning, hurricane, blizzard etc.
