Brittany Wins The 2024-2025 PROACTIVE Challenge
On June 1, 2025, once all the challenges were completed and all the points were counted, Brittany was named the winner of the 2024-2025 PROACTIVE Challenge with 1350 points.
Brittany is one the longest tenured members of PROACTIVE, one of the originals. Since October, 2018, she has been one of the most outspoken and supportive members of the group and has completed the majority of our more strenuous routes. In addition to hiking with the group, she has traveled far and away to hike, most notably Mount Kilimanjaro.
Last year, midway through the 2023-2024 Challenge, she called her shot and said she had her eyes set on the next year's championship. She then followed through by putting her mind to it and dedicating her free time to checking off challenge after challenge for an entire year.
Between June 2024 and June 2025, Brittany took on the PROACTIVE Challenge fully and completely, making it a point to meticulously examine the rules and find a place for each months' challenges into her already busy schedule.
Following Brittany, near the top of the PROACTIVE Challenge, was Phil in 2nd with 1230 points, Justin in 3rd with 1160 points, and Finn in 4th with 890 points. Former champion, Vanessa, finished in 5th with 795 points after being sidelined with an injury early on.
The PROACTIVE BBQ is August 9th. At this event, Brittany will be crowned the PROACTIVE Championship and awarded the championship belt and $1000.00 grand prize! RSVP at www.proactiveahw.com/bbq-2025
